I do feel pressure to say something amazing due to my prolonged absence, but all that really occurs to me is: OOPS!
Well AND...Sheesh! Who knew that time could race by and activities and responsibilities (not to mention laundry) usurp every moment of the day! Mommies---cuddle your children now, no one can escape the continual march of time!
I looked at my little Tali during church today as she was lovingly wrapped around her second favorite person in the world (daddy---purple bear is currently ranked #1) I looked down at her hands that were gripping his hands, and was surprised to see how long her fingers were and the chubbiness of toddler hood completely erased leaving no trace or residual.
I felt a little pang and slightly surprised.
I don't really want to keep her young forever, but I am hesitant to lose all darling innocent cuteness from my home. I am quite fond of the sweet sayings and sudden hugs of enthusiasm.
Nonetheless, I did notice that sure enough---Tali is nearly 5. Luckily she is full of enthusiasm and darling as can be. So I will enjoy her at all the stages I can. That is not to cut short any love that I have for my other cute kiddos they all are endearing and rather funny in their own ways.
Further in my ramblings...also today I realized that my face does not look like a twenty something cutie pie. There are true lines around my eyes---which become more pronounced the less sleep I get (of which I am a master). This is also rather disconcerting. I pointed this out to my hubby (which maybe we shouldn't point out any little negativities that are not common knowledge--maybe if we don't speak them, they are less noticeable) However, hubby said we still look like we should go together---and he popped his head into the mirror next to mine and I observed a little graying and a few lines on that cute guy. Hmmm. So we age--big deal! =0)
Well it is spring break this week. Mc is training every day to become a life guard this summer so she is learning CPR and etc. Big D is off to NYLT, as a part of staff training other boy scouts to be all they can be---or something else quite as stirring. Tali, Lissa, Kybear and I are going to play together. Chances are we will organize a few drawers, tidy up and then play, play, play.
"You can learn more about someone in an hour of play than a lifetime of work." I think that is how the saying goes, nonetheless, my plan is to play with those cute kiddos in an effort to gather enough emotional sunshine to support us in the coming weeks of school, concerts, girl's camp prep and the overall hussle of life!
How blessed!
Pictures soon to come!! =0)

Oh man, if I'm having issues with Isaak getting bigger, I may be a basketcase for the last!
You look fabulous, and cute childhood innocence will be reintroduced with grandchildren (a long, LONG time from now, which will ultimately feel only like a blink, right?)
Love you sis!
Hey, those lines are experience and maturity....wellll, maybe not maturity in your case:). So bring them on with gladness, girlfriend!!!
Emotional sunshine??? I Love, love, love that! You are completely hot at 40, darling. And, I dare say, we've earned every laugh line (and stretch mark - bah!).
Make it a super happy-chappy week of springyness! :D Luv yer guts!
You are such a cute mom, and those lines on your face must only be laugh lines because girl, you are a bundle of joyful energy that lifts my spirits every time I read your blog!
You do look fabulous and it's a good thing our fellas grow with us. Thanks for reminding me to appreciate my little girls while they are still little!
