Chelsea's Day-O

We sing a lot around here. Of course I teach voice lessons, but we also have music on fairly constantly, (not bang your head, can't think a thought music) but Broadway, accapella, a fair amount of Barney and the like...and of course now we have Christmas music on...Tis the season you know.
Well Pop became enchanted with "Angels we have heard on high," We sang it as a family around the tree one night before we put the kiddos to bed, and then a little later, Mc came down and got me out of the kitchen to come hear Pop singing in bed.
So picture this, Dan, Mc and I huddled around Pop's door that is barely ajar (staying out of sight in the dark hallway) listening to her tiny little voice singing "Glor...oh oh oh (Breath) Glor ooooo, ohhh, oh (breath) (etc.) in Chelsea's Day-O" We must have stood there for 3 or 4 minutes as she reviewed the chorus again and again. It was just a little bit of Christmas magic to brighten our lives.
She now sings it everyday, and when we hear it on a CD, she brightens up and pipes up "Oh here is my song!" Love it! Share with us your Christmas magic...fa la la la laaaaaaaaaa
