Heart Felt

Today was my last official week in Primary.

As it is a holiday weekend, I actually ended up doing singing and sharing time and sooo many people were out of town. But at the end of primary right as I finished sharing time with the Senior Primary, the back doors opened and in marched all of the junior primary and even the nursery each carrying a paper heart. Each of these darling kiddos that I adore came up and gave me their little heart, many with hugs, (although the boys once they saw hugs were being given dropped the heart and darted away-hee hee) It was so very sweet. How could a couple tears not escape reminding me of the blessings of being in with these great kids!

Some of the paper hearts had a scribble or two on them, some had only a name printed in large letters (with a backward N---you know handwritten 4 or 5 year old style) but many of the hearts had a hand written sentiment saying things like:

"Thanks for making Primary so fun! Sean"

"Dear Sister W. I enjoy coming to primary because of your enthusiazam. From Elizabeth" (spelling intentional)

"Thanks for being the best Primary President ever! ;)
Michael M."

"We will miss you so much. Love, Jesse"

Some of the sweetest sentiments came from my counselors (who have formed the new presidency) All this was presented to me PLUS my favorite kind of cookies. Who could ask for anything sweeter? It was another great day in Primary!

P.S. we had such a GREAT 4th of July with Rick and Janae and family! We had a fun dive in movie and loads of yummy food. We LOVE having family in town!

ahh, I didn't know you are released. What are you going to do next (do you know - or are you lucky enough to get a "vacation") We missed our pres. today, because she's at Lake Powell, so we "flew solo" without her!

Kristy and Mandy---no vacation---strictly adventure here! 1st counselor in the Stake Young Women's Presidency! Our first dance is this Saturday---and youth council retreat & mini refinement nights coming up. We've already had 3 hours of training, and more tomorrow!

Of course they're sad to lose you----you do such a bang up job whatever the calling. And the leaders in ward young women's will wonder where in the world you get all your energy and ideas. And the girls will love you!!!
