Scrumptious Delight!

Well anyone who has any contact with us in the last month knows that Pop has a "Ballerina Dance Class" coming up! She tells everyone who will listen---and quite a few strangers as well. It's amazing how no one can resist the enthusiasm of a two year old (almost three now!)

Her words are: "KyBear is gonna take Football and Pop is gonna take Ballerina Dance Class!" accompanied with a big smile and maybe a giggle!

Every night when we share good and bad news with each other at the dinner table 9 out of 10 times Pop talks about her upcoming dance class. Needless to say---she is soooooooo excited!

Well, while running errands today---this little number caught my eye---and I debated for about 3 seconds before crumbling to its adorable pink poofiness (weak)---at which point Pop saw this little leotard and started happily shrieking---and now here she is wearing it moments after returning home. When I put it on her she said "mommy I'm gonna have wear this a long time!" Of this I have no doubt!

We dug through our shoes and found tap shoes that fit, and ballet shoes that are about 3 sizes too big, but she is delighted! It was hard to get her to stay still long enough to not get a blurry shot, and she is dancing now to "Sugar Plum Fairy" even as I type. We also got a shot of big brother Bear who thinks all this pink is kind of silly, but wanted his picture taken! (and he just said "Mom I am not Brother Bear!")

Well I mostly post this for Dan as I cannot possibly wait 4 more hours to share this cuteness with him, but also for every little girl who can't wait to be a ballerina!
