Yesterday Bear and I were walking down the hall when he suddenly turns to me and says:
"Who thinks we should get cows?"
After which he enthusiastically raised his hand as high as he could reach casting his vote, his face alive with boyish anticipation.
Hmmmm...some friends of ours who live on a couple of acres bought some cows 3 months ago which they named Wendy and Jack (After Wendy's and Jack in the Box) We have regular play dates with these friends, so Bear has had a chance to feed them and apparently think they would be a lot of fun. Yippee! I'm sure these same friends will share their cows with us in the sad, but true circle of life...then what will our conversation be?

Has Bear been able to visualize a cow in your house????? Make sure he gets a chance to shovel cow pies!!! Then maybe he'd settle for a stuff animal!!!
Does he realize the correlation between their names and what's served at those restaurants?
