There's Pop trying to catch her Popsicle! Hee Hee!
It's HOT! Even in the pool feels warm!
The Upside: you can jump right in the pool without feeling any of the shock of cold! Downside: if you exit the pool, you cannot hang out pool side longer than 6.4 minutes (timed meticulously) without drying out in the dessert heat! Sheesh---thus the reason a pool is essential.
In January, lots of you folks out there cuddle up with your hot chocolate and blankets, but we go outside to play at the park (and then still drink hot chocolate just for fun)
In July, we do NOT go to the park as we would burn ourselves on the play ground equipment! Sizzle! Nonetheless rather than defend the crazy 110 degree heat, let me just tell you what we do: Swim, swim, swim (hit the Library, Museums and etc.) But a lot of swimming for sure!
We have some buddies that are moving into their new house, and we had their kiddos come over to keep them out from underfoot and after playing inside and then swimming we then turned to a favorite of Popsicles on the Wet Deck! Come to Play! We love summer!
